Last week, our colleagues Ireen and Kiki travelled to Stockholm to participate in the International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) EDGE training programme; an inspiring international experience that we are proud to support.
For both, it was about more than just gaining knowledge. It was about professional growth, international networking and staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in our industry.
What struck them the most?
The openness of the group, the variety of insights and the energy of the speakers who not only shared knowledge but also challenged participants to reflect, experiment and step outside their comfort zone.
A memorable learning moment came from a simple LEGO exercise: build a duck in just a few seconds with six bricks. Everyone made something different. The perfect reminder that there is no one ‘right’ way to think, create or solve problems. And that diversity is precisely the basis for innovation.
They return home with:
- valuable international contacts
- fresh ideas and practical insights they can apply immediately
- new inspiration, both professional and personal
